Publisher details
The publisher’s identity, country, address and contact details have not been completed. A contact channel will appear here when added.
Who is responsible
PlayScout is a game discovery guide. Publisher and contact details are shown below and on the Contact page. These details are still being prepared; this notice is not a completed identification of the data controller.
Browsing and technical delivery
There are no visitor accounts, payment forms or registration forms on PlayScout. Hosting providers receive connection information, including IP address, request time, requested page and browser information, to deliver the pages and maintain security. Where the GDPR applies, the intended basis for necessary delivery and security is the publisher’s legitimate interest in operating a reliable website, subject to visitors’ rights.
The main address uses your browser language, with English for unsupported languages. Language links open the language you select. Fonts and preview images are served from this site. The site code does not install analytics, advertising pixels or persistent visitor identifiers. We do not carry out automated decisions or behavioural profiling.
Optional YouTube videos
Videos load within the page when you click play once; there is no separate confirmation window. The explanation beside the button describes the YouTube connection. Preview images come from this site and the YouTube player is not loaded before the click. Stop video removes the player but does not erase data already sent.
Playback can transmit IP address, browser/device information and the video viewed. YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies. The privacy-enhanced player does not mean anonymous playback. Your permission is the basis for loading this optional service; Google’s privacy policy describes its subsequent processing.
Messages and recipients
When a publisher contact channel is available, a message may contain your email address, name and the information you choose to send. These are used to handle your request, on the basis of legitimate interests in correspondence or an applicable legal obligation when responding to data-rights requests. Share only what is necessary. Hosting and email providers may process relevant data to supply these services. Legal disclosure may also be required.
Game publishers, Opera GX and other external sites receive data when you visit them. Registration, payment and game support occur on their sites under their notices. They are not operated by PlayScout.
Retention and international processing
A video choice stays only in the current page’s memory and is cleared when the player closes. Technical logs follow the hosting service’s retention arrangements. Correspondence should be retained only while needed to resolve the request or meet a legal obligation, then deleted or anonymised. Specific provider retention settings still need to be confirmed before public launch.
External providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA. Their notices explain locations and safeguards. This site does not claim that a particular transfer mechanism or provider contract has already been verified.
Your rights and choices
Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where the relevant conditions are met. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. You may complain to your local supervisory authority. Use the publisher contact details once they are completed; an operational request channel is required before public launch.
The site does not request children’s personal information. External games and video services have their own age and parental-permission rules. Review them before registering. This notice will change if tracking or other data uses are introduced.
